McKenzie Towne School is an elementary school located within the community. The school provides K–4 students with a high quality education close to home. As one of Calgary’s newer schools, McKenzie Towne benefits from modern amenities and features. In recent years the residents of McKenzie Towne joined together to successfully raise funds for a school playground, which is now beloved by the students.
David Thompson Middle School challenges students to learn in a meaningful way, and is committed to a positive social and school environment. Students are grouped into learning communities to ensure each student receives the education needed to succeed. A wide variety of complementary courses are available to students, including music and athletics. As David Thompson School is located in Acadia, buses are available for McKenzie Towne students.
Lord Beaverbrook is one of Calgary’s major high schools that provides a high quality education to students all across the community. In addition to a strong selection of core courses, Lord Beaverbrook offers a diverse range of electives. These electives allow students to explore various career paths and interests, and develop skill sets that will continue to serve them in the future.
